  1. How many students are at Campus Guadalajara and what percent are international students?

    There are about 6,000 students attending high school, bachelor and master degrees at Campus Guadalajara. About 150 are international students.

  2. Will I be able to undertake courses taught both in Spanish and English?

    For undertaking courses in Spanish you need to obtain an Advanced 2 level in our placement exam. For undertaking courses in English, you need to have a TOEFL score of 550 institutional / 213 official, provided you are not an English native speaker.

  3. How do I get to Guadalajara?

    The best way to get to Guadalajara is by airplane. Guadalajara's international airport has daily flights from North America and Europe via Aeromexico and Mexicana as well as some of their partner airlines.

  4. Will I need a student visa?

    You will need a student visa (FM3) if you will be attending Campus Guadalajara for a semester or more. You may attend for a trimester or during the Summer with just a tourist visa (FMT). You can apply for a student visa (FM3) at a Mexican Consulate before you leave your home country.

  5. What services are there for international students?

    Campus Guadalajara offers a gymnasium, track and field, bookstore, cafeteria, library, free Internet access, free e-mail accounts for every student, free computer access, language lab, organized recreational activities for all students, international student advising, housing programs.

  6. Can I arrive late?

    Yes. Students may arrive as late as one week after the start of the academic period and still be allowed into academic programs. However, you will still obtain absences in all your registered courses.

  7. Are there any scholarships or financial aid for international students?

    No. Unfortunately, Campus Guadalajara only offers financial aid for Mexican students.

  8. Can I get a job while studying at Campus Guadalajara?

    Yes. It might be difficult, specially since you will be required to obtain a work permit from the Migration Office, but you can give it a try.

  9. How can I pay my fees?

    You may pay by bank draft or electronic funds transfer if paying before arrival. If paying at the Campus, you may also provide travelers cheques, credit card, cash, or checks (certified by bank only, personal checks are not accepted).

  10. Do you have an application deadline?

    Yes. You can review the application deadline for each period at our academic calendar.
